Skate Night OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next skate night is January 5, 2007. Starts at 7:00 and ends at 9:00.

There's snack like nachos, pretzels, popcorn and more. We have juices, sodas, and bottled water too. Cost is only $5.00 for skates or bring your own. PLEASE NO STREET SKATES.

21 Days of Fasting

This year we will observe a variation of the “Daniel Fast.” The Daniel Fast is a partial fast where we restrict our food intake, but do not totally abstain as in an absolute fast (no food or water) or a normal fast (without food, drinking water only). We have record of the Daniel Fast in Daniel 1:8a,

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine he drank….”, also verse 12…. “Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse (vegetables) to eat, and water to drink.” And in Daniel 10:2-3, “In those days I, Daniel was mourning three full weeks. I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled

There will be no Discipleship classes on the 24 and 31 of December due to the holidays.

Classes will start again January 7, 2007. You can come to the 10:00 service or to the 3:00 service. We will be looking at Worship and Celebration.

The Nativity

The Ark youth Group will be going to the Kill Devil Hills Cinema to watch the Nativity. The Cost is $8.00 plus money for snacks. We'll meet at the church at 4:00 or you can meet us at the cinema. The movie starts at 4:45.
